For generations, La Minutera has been a part of the Hialeah community, serving authentic Cuban seafood dishes made with tradition, quality, and family at the heart of everything we do.

In 1994, Carlos and Maritza Blanco became the proud owners of La Minutera, continuing a restaurant tradition that had already become a local favorite. With hard work, dedication, and a passion for serving great food, they transformed La Minutera into a place where families gather, friendships are celebrated, and every guest is treated like family.

What began as a neighborhood seafood restaurant has grown into a Hialeah institution known for fresh seafood, traditional Cuban flavors, and generous hospitality. From our famous pan con minuta and seafood soups to our beloved paellas and family recipes, every dish reflects the flavors and traditions that have connected generations of South Florida families.

For more than three decades under Carlos and Maritza’s leadership, La Minutera has remained committed to the values that matter most: fresh ingredients, authentic recipes, and exceptional service. Many of our customers first visited as children and now bring their own families to create new memories around our tables.

Today, La Minutera continues to proudly serve Hialeah and the surrounding community, honoring our Cuban roots while welcoming new generations of guests.
